Kevin has spent more than 30 years working hands-on with automotive paint and body finishes. Before recommending a repair, he looks beyond the visible scratch: the depth of the damage, the shape of the panel, the existing paint layers, nearby edges and signs of earlier repair work all affect the right approach.

Not every mark needs the same solution. Where a localised repair is suitable, Kevin aims to preserve as much sound original finish as practical. When a wider repair is needed, he explains why. Colour variant, metallic lay, blending area and edge finish are considered together—not treated as separate shortcuts.
